I don’t always orgasm… and that’s okay. Experiences pt. 2

Lip bite

My teenage years left me with high expectations of the orgasms to come. I didn’t have sex until I was 18, and when I did, it was amazing. My first time I had sex was with a woman. There is something amazing about when someone else touches you. I tell my friends; you can’t tickle yourself. I knew this before I had sex the first time. It’s just not the same solo.

Since I got my first toy I have been on a mission to achieve satisfaction. At some point along the way I forgot to enjoy the little things. I forgot that pleasure doesn’t require an orgasm. The slow buildup of pressure and sensation is pleasant in its own right.

After a stint with medication I found my sex drive destroyed. My ability to have an orgasm was lost at 19 and I wouldn’t accept that. I made the decision to stop medication to try and save my libido. This is when I became more concerned with if I have an orgasm.

My obsession with orgasms was ruining my pleasure…

Thoughts play a huge role in our enjoyment of sexual activity. My brain went from fantasizing about what ever turned me on to analyzing what felt good and what toys I thought were crap.

After a year relationship with no orgasms I started to research. I felt broken. Why couldn’t I enjoy pleasure? Aren’t I supposed to want sex all the time and love it? I looked into what could be causing me to feel no enjoyment.

I noticed I had completely put all the value of sexual experiences into the orgasm, if I didn’t get that it was pointless. There was pleasure, I just didn’t notice it and enjoy it like I could. I started to notice the little things, and not to analyse it and question if it would lead to an orgasm, but just to enjoy it. The idea of orgasmic meditation is still very interesting to me, I hope to one day try it.

When I want to masturbate, I have to take time for myself. I have to live in the moment. When I let myself feel every bit of the experience I get to know myself better, I have a better time, and I don’t feel a deep sense of disappointment I got when my goal was to orgasm.

Since I have learned to let go, I have learned how to squirt, I enjoy myself every time I spend time with my body, and I can orgasm when I want to. It isn’t always my goal anymore. I feel extremely satisfied by the pleasure I receive from the experience, and I get more when I let myself relax and play.

When I want to just have an orgasmic release…

I use a mid to full sized wand clitorally and a silicone dong. Everybody is different, and this is what pleases me the fastest. It’s not a guarantee for everyone, but I do recommend it if that’s what you really want.

For mid-sized wands I recommend the Vibratex Mystic Wand, or the rechargeable Dorcel Wanderful.

For full sized wands try a DOXY die cast or a Magic Wand rechargeable.

Just be,

Early Experimenting

This post is about my first experiences with masturbation and toys. I hope that the reader will feel comfort in whatever experiences they have had, and feel assured they are just as normal as everyone else.

My first experiences with sexual pleasure:

When I first started to masturbate I was a bit older than most of my friends had been. I started with research. I found out about the clit and grabbed a mirror to try and understand my lady bits. After finding out where it was located I started with manual stimulation. My hand was the only source of pleasure. It took me a while to figure out why my right arm is way stronger and has more muscles than my left, it gets much more use.

At some point in my exploration, I started to wonder about internal stimulation. I was determined to remain a virgin until marriage, so boys were way out of the question, and needing to be 18 to enter a sex shop I had no real options. [Let it be known, I did lose my virginity and I am at peace with that and glad I did] I grabbed cylinders, in this case a crayola marker about slightly wider than a standard clitoral bullet. Having some idea that this might not be a smart thing to use internally I put a condom on it. [Despite my pledge to stay a virgin I kept condoms on me incase, I guess I thought one day a guy would woo me into being unable to say no]

I could not wait to get into an adult store.

Through-out the “dark years” where I remained toyless, I learned the value of massage products, shower heads and running water. Thank you internet. These were my first “toys”. My favourite one was a three motor toy that operated with 3 or 4 AA’s. One of the round motors fit perfectly to my body to hit clitorally.

When I turned 18 I would drive past my local adult store. A huge adult “warehouse”. I finally stopped in one day. I remember I bought about $80 worth of products: A jelly dong (Ahhh!), some flavoured lube by ID, and a small bullet that used watch batteries. Despite all the advise from staff to avoid jelly, I still went for it. I think the reality is, some people are going to go for it, despite strong recommendations not to. As a first toy, I understand the purchase of it more than an experienced purchaser. I find after the 2nd or 3rd time buying a toy and hearing recommendations against it, most people will change there choice. I have found that many of these first toys didn’t last long and I found myself naturally guided to try something higher end, even if it meant a higher price.

I believe it must of been the two years of a UTI that persisted and would not leave me alot that really changed things for me. I now refuse to buy products for my kitty thay aren’t going to keep it healthy. I don’t know for certain that it was my use of jelly toys that caused it, but it certainly didn’t prevent it.

I really only trusted one store with everything I needed, one of the staff members, who first ID’d me and told me jelly wasn’t the best option was someone I had trust in. I knew I would hear the truth about any product. It was amazing to be able to talk to someone who talked so freely about toys, as many people tell me I do now, “as if it were toothpaste”.

There is plenty more to my exploration. Little did I know that I would eventually work at that Adult “warehouse” that I first walked into. Since starting working there I have learned way more about toys, and I have explored way beyond this.

Every time I explore myself sexually I need to remain open minded, I can’t focus on the goal of orgasm because then I miss out on the pleasure that comes from each pleasurable action, just because I know myself better now, or have better toys, doesn’t mean I have to miss out on all the pleasures I feel. Don’t sell yourself short by thinking you have the perfect fool proof method, you may miss out on new experiences. I will save that for another day.

Advise:

Try going toyless if you haven’t yet, it is a great way of getting to know yourself.

If you want to go for a rechargable, silicone option, with a warrantee and spend a bit more, get a versatile option  such as the We-Vibe Tango pleasure mates pack.

Use body safe toys: Silicone, Glass, Stainless steel, and Stone

Clean toys properly

Only use toys intended for anal use in the rectum (See: Anal)

if you have any questions, ask an informed employee at the adult shops, or email me, I love to help.

The Similarities of Squirting and tears.

image

View of the water.

Intro:

I recently returned back home after 14 days of inner exploration. Coming back home was a big shock. While I was there I didn’t get to masturbate, but I learned how to cry. I found similarities between being vulnerable with my emotions, as there are with being vulnerable sexually.

Everyone has area’s that come easier to them. For me, talking about sexuality is a breeze, I love it and openly share about it. For others, this may not be the case. While away, I found myself uncomfortable with others, and my emotions. This seemed similar to how some people shun talks of sexuality. It just feels uncomfortable to them.

I spend a long time thinking about my next post. Originally when I left I had thought my next blog would be about my 14 day hiatus from sex toys, and maybe that will be the case in the near future, but now is time to open up to you. The people of the internet, just enough to talk about squirting and it’s relationship to tears.

How are they similar?

Firstly, Squirting and/or tears come naturally to some people, yet for others are a learning curve. When I first started trying to learn how to have female ejaculate I found often I would get close but hold back, it was only after realizing I needed to let it happen in order to gush that I learned how. Similarily it reminds me of my current battle with allowing myself to cry. When something sad happens, I find myself feeling the tears surfacing, and in the same breath stopping them from flooding my eyes. I know that if I let go, and let it happen, it will, and does end eventually. I will feel better having done it.

Secondly, Both have an afterglow that feels mellow and warm. Orgasm’s provide me with this afterglow which people are generally familiar with. The same goes for tears, after a good emotional release, I feel a sense of calm and relief.

Third, A certain level of vulnerability is required especially when around others. Sex can feel uncomfortable, especially when with someone for the first time. “Am I doing this right for them?”, “How does my body look?”, and “What if I sound weird when I orgasm.” Such sentences that dance in my head. Crying can be such a hard thing to do. It can come at the worst of times. Frequently I will think familiar statements; “My face looks puffy!”, “What will people think of me.”, and “What is that sound?.”

Lastly, they are both completely natural and good for us. They don’t last forever, and they will always teach us something about our body and minds. You don’t need to share all of yourself with all people. We all have people we trust to talk to or enjoy sex with, and those people are different for everyone. You are the only one who can be a true guide to happy, trusting people.

Conclusion:

Emotional and sexual health are connected. We can’t neglect one without loosing an important part of the other. Getting to know ourselves is important and knowing our feelings, both in generalitys and during sex is an important piece to understand our limits, boundaries and providing consent. Sex is fun, let yourself be vulnerable and don’t hold yourself back. Be with someone you can trust. Be true to your emotions. Everyone is on their own journey. Follow your path.

Be yourself, love yourself, trust yourself,

Toy Review: Gvibe 2

I recieved the G-vibe 2 from Fun Toys in exchange for an honest unbias review.

image

G-vibe 2 and G-Balls (coming soon)

Material: Premium Class Medical Silicone

Company: Fun Toys

Use: Multi Versitile: Clitoral, Vaginal, Anal, Nipples, Rabbit, DP, and Teasing.

Colour: Blue (Also available in Black and purple)

Vibration: 3 motors (Strength: 4.5 out of 5)

Water resistance: Waterproof

Batteries: Rechargeable (Lasts up to: 4 hours), magnetic charger.

Warrentee: 1 year

Lube Pairing: Water based or a silicone safe hybrid lubricant (Suggested: Sliquid Sassy)

Diagram of location of vibrating motors

Diagram of location of vibrating motors

Initial Interest:

I have been eyeing the G-vibe 2 for about three months, the idea behind it sounded amazing. The curve of the toy seemed like  a great idea. Two vibrating silicone branches that curved to assure that the vaginal wall would be hit. As it states on the website “Gives feeling of fullness without stretching entrance”* I was really curious about its potential g-spot use.

* I just want to let every lady know that the vagina is like an elastic, it goes back to normal. When aroused it relaxes and loosens.

I loved the vibration on this toy, One of my favourite things to do with it is placing it against my throat and sounding like a robot when I speak, is that so wrong? Not to mention after about an hour and a half of charging it lasts well over 4 hours.

Use:

The Gvibe is versatile and this is the best feature of it. It is great for getting to know what you really like. It took me plenty of testing to discover what I really loved about this toy, and what would keep me coming back to it as a regular toy.

Expectations:

image

The diagram above shows what was the use I was most excited about. For me, this use felt unpleasant. I didnt feel able to move as much as I usually like to. This was a downer and because I had pumped this use up in my head so much, i stopped using it for a week, until I gave it another shot.

image

Reality:

I had tried to use it all the suggested ways and realized that the versatility was what made this toy a great toy. It isn’t a rabbit, or a dildo, its not for clitoral use only. This toy screams; “Do whatecer you can dream up!” So I did. I had to let go of the obvious uses, this toy has more versatility than just the basic uses. So I got creative.

image

My favourite way to use the Gvibe 2

This way is perfect for me. The motor in the shaft before the split of the toy hits the clit, and one of the branches goes interally and hits the G-spot. This way of using it made this toy go from meh, to awesome. For me, it is an easy way to feel like I am being fingered, this is one of my favourite parts about sex, aside from oral.  Despite the fact that the suggested ways weren’t right for me, it just took a bit of exploring to figure out what WAS right for me. That is part of what self love is all about, getting to know your body and what you truly enjoy.

This is the first toy to beable to truely give me the feeling of fingering, specifically hitting my g-spot. It didnt do it in the way I expected, but when I finally found my perfect rhythm it was amazing!

Other uses:

image imageimageimage image

Basically, Get creative, My favourite part about this toy was that it urged you to explore every different use. Don’t be shy, use it for forplay. Let yourself have fun. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Embrace your imagination.

Overall:

This toy took alot of trial and error before I discovered what I liked most about it. It has become one of my favourite toys that I own and I am glad I took the time to try new things. This toy isn’t for beginners, and the more creative you get with it the better the results. If you are looking for a toy to get to experiment and learn more about youe body then this is the toy for you.

Battery note: I have owned this toy for almost a month with use as I wished and it just died yesterday. This battery is amazing, for me it continued to live beyond the 4 hours stated. With such a great vibration this toy amazed me in the battery power.

Much love,

Toy Review: Split Peaches Grenade Butt Plug

I recieved this Rainbow Grenade butt plug from Split Peaches in exchange for an honest unbais review.

image

Plug on Right, compared to pop can.

Ahh another review of one of my favourite hand poured silicone toy companies, Split Peaches.

Andy is the owner of Split Peaches, and while we were talking about receiving my Rivetor for review he sent me a photo of a beautiful rainbow butt plug he had made me. I can assume he noticed that I had previously reviewed a jelly plug and didn’t mind butt stuff (Actually I love it). Thanks for the body safe toy Andy.

Material: Platinum Cured Silicone

Measurements: 1 5/8″ Diameter

Use: Anal

Colours: Almost any including metallic, rainbow, half and half, and glow in the dark.

Country: USA & proud

Lube Pairing: Water based or hybrid (Suggested: Sliquid Sassy)

Shipping:

 image

Andy gave me a heads up before he sent off this gorgeous plug. He takes a photo of each order just before it gets placed in the box and shipped off to the customer. As he says the company isn’t about to “ship it and forget it”, and they love customer feedback so they know how they can improve on every single customer experience.

Andy told me what part of the process my toys were in at every step of the way. When they were in the mould I knew as he excitedly told me that they would soon be coming out of the mould and they were almost done. He took photos of the toys and sent them to me.

When my toys got shipped out I recieved a tracking number, because I am Canadian and customs likes to stop all my packages at the border and try and charge me taxes, I waited about a week and a half to recieve this toy.

Receiving:

image

Upon receiving I noticed the box had no markings on it and even the paper on the box didn’t say SplitPeaches on it. This may of been the most discreet shipping I have ever seen. As I opened it peices of purple tissue papers marked SP in silver writing got thrown out of the box as I went looking for my toys. When I got to them they were also wrapped perfectly in the tissue paper. I ripped it open and there they were, in clear containers (perfect for my display case).

The top and bottom of the packaging of my butt plug had a tamper proof seal to let me know no one had opened my toy (customs *cough*). I was sad to have to ruin the beautiful rainbow seal.

image

One of my favourite parts of the packaging was the care instructions on the back. This is an awesome feature as sometimes people forget what the person at the store told them they could and couldn’t do, or they are in a rush and are trying to remember if they can use silicone lube on a silicone toy.

What I like about butt stuff:

Some people hate it, and others love it. I personally get awesome sensation from it. Its a fullness that I prefer over vaginal fullness and I find clitoral stimulation with it to be amazing. My favourite anal toys are butt plugs that dip before the flair so they stay in easier. I don’t use butt plugs to orgasm, but rather to increase the level of enjoyment I get from other sexual acts.

Use:

This toy is awesome for intermediate users. It is not a blug for beginners, and is best suitable for a person with experience who is ready for a slightly larger plug. If you are new to anal play, check out this guide.

The grenade is perfectly shaped so that it stays in during sex or masturbation. As an intermediate butt plug user, I used the simple techniques to comfortably place the butt plug in. I placed some water based lubricant on me and the toy, relaxed, and eased it in. Once in the plug feels comfortable and stays in easily.

This plug is perfect (dare I say; the bomb), even if you want to walk around with it in. I used the grenade in conjunction with clitoral stimulation. Its hard to describe the sensation of a plug. You can use a butt plug alone, or with a partner. They move slighty during play and it adds extra sensation. Women don’t have a prostate like men, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy butt stuff. If you are a guy, you benefit from the prostate which is similar to the womans g-spot. This makes anal toys and stimulation a different experience for men that many enjoy.

Pros:

  • Premium Silicone
  • Will not take in bacteria
  • Does not fall out
  • Great shape
  • Easy to clean

Cons:

  • Not for beginners
  • Round tip

Cleaning Options:

  • Use toy cleaner, wait 3 minutes and rinse off and let air dry
  • Place in boiling water for 5 minutes (let cool down before use)
  • Throw in dishwasher
  • Use hypoallergenic soap and water, rinse and let air dry

TL;DR

Intermediate plug, not for beginners.

Body Safe platinum silicone will not take in bacteria

Do not use silicone lube on this toy.

Doesn’t fall out

Clean using prefered method (Suggested: Antibacterial toy cleaner)

Toy Review: Rainbow Rivetor – Small

image

I recieved the Rainbow Rivetor from Split Peaches in exchange for a honest, fair review.

Company: Split Peaches
Use: Vaginally & Anal
Material: 100% Platinum cured silicone
Size: 5.9″ circumference head (1 7/8″ across)
5.3″ circumference at shaft (1 5.5/8″ across)
Weight: 1.5 lbs
Colours available: Glow in the dark green, Glow in the dark blue, Rainbow, Metallic, Cream, Mint, Light Skin, Basic… All your heart desires, just ask.
Lube pairing: Water based lubricant (Such as: Sliquid H20)

Original Interest:

When I was choosing what product I would be interested in I came across the rivetor. The bumps of the rivetor appealed to me. Dongs often have bumps or lines to extra sensations during use. This toy was sure to provide plenty of stimulation. The design of the Rivetor is also curved and since I am a huge fan of all toys G-spot, I had to try it out.

Receiving:

image

10/10 Amazing initiative and discretion.

My Split Peaches order came in a small plain cardboard box, Just the way I like it. The only writing on the box was the shippers address (It didn’t even say Split Peaches) and my address.

SP1

Split Peaches Logo

Inside the box I found plenty of purple tissue papers marked with silver Split Peaches logos. Each toy was individually wrapped. The box also contained a cute shiny purple envelope with the words”Thank you for your order! Your peach was split by Andy Splitpeaches.com” that contained my invoice and some stickers.

Packaging:

Once I unwrapped all the toys from the paper, I got to see the packaging. Split peaches products come in round clear cylinders that are strong enough to hold the product and not be flimsy. Along the top there is a tamper proof seal which lets you know this is the first time it has been opened. Once opened the seal breaks, but the lid still fits on. On the back of the packaging there is a sticker with care instructions.

The Company:

This was the most fun I have had working with a company since I started blogging. I talked with Andy for quite a bit before we decided on what toy would be right. He helped me compare my top 2 choices, and in the end I decided I needed a Rivetor. Andy is great and he takes advise really well, He just wants to make his customers happy. Split peaches is a company that listens to the customer and for that they get major kudos. Even the Rivetor is a product that was talked over and designed and redesigned. Originally having less bumps and a straight shaft.

Split Peaches is a new company and that gives the customer a real opportunity to communicate with them and share what they think would be a good toy, or next step for SP. In Canada they have yet to have an in-store presence, but I am sure with time Split Peaches will be a great staple for body safe silicone dongs. In Andy’s immortal words “If it’s not body safe I’m not making it”, I appreciate his dedication to body friendly toys.

Why choose Split Peaches:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Individual products (Like a fingerprint)
  • Body Safe
  • Colour choices
  • Great Prices
  • Shipped products make you feel like royalty
  • You can have your opinion heard!

Using the Rivetor:

I was so excited to try out the rivetor, this is my second non vibrating dong ever, and I had recently discovered I really liked them. Plus, It is RAINBOW, how could I not love that?

Pros:

  • 100% Platinum Cured Silicone
  • Plenty of bumps for stimulation
  • Stable but has a nice squish to it
  • Strap on compatible
  • Steampunk theme

Cons:

  • No suction cup option
  • The small size starts off at girth of 5.3″ circumference

(Luckily Andy is working on an extra small model with a 4.3″ circumference, Thanks Andy!)

Tip: With a larger toy (Or partner) than you are used to, start with clitoral stimulation and some porn to get things going, as women get more excited our vaginas release tension that can cause tightening.

Warm up was needed with this toy. When I tried it the first time I was probably a bit too pumped to try it out and didn’t warm up enough. I grabbed my Sliquid water based lube and tried it out. The issue was, despite it fitting it was too large for me to comfortably move. As I tried it out other times I eventually got to the point where I could properly use it. It took a lot of time to be ready for this toy.

My favourite features of this toy during use was, despite the girth being a bit much for my body the length was absolutely perfect. The bumps provided alot of sensation but since it was a bit larger than my body was prepared for I wasn’t able to enjoy them for long. I found myself spending more time trying to stay comfortable with the size then I could spend reviewing the feelings. For me, this is what I experienced.

Instead of trying to make myself feel the bumps I spent alot more time enjoying the feeling of fullness it provided. I would sometimes give in and move it slightly, and when I did it felt good. I had to accept that I didn’t need to move it fully in and out to get optimal enjoyment from it. Simply using the toy internally while I used my wand clitorally was a good experience.

Advise:

If I have any advise for anyone who purchases this toy, is don’t have expectations of yourself. You’re human and we are all different, what one person likes, you may not, and there are more than one way to enjoy a toy. Andy is working on an extra small version so if you would prefer a smaller option there is that.

You would love this toy if:

  • They love the feeling of fullness
  • Enjoy broad G-spot stimulation
  • Are comfortable with larger toys

Tip: To get a good idea of toy sizes, you can measure out circumference by grabbing a tape measure finding the length and having zero connect to the inches of circumference forming a circle. This is the width of the toy.

Second Opinion:

If you want to hear from another blogger on her experience of the rivetor check out the review written by @curious_kitt here: curiouskitt.com

Jo All-in-One Massage Glide & Personal Lubricant

System JO Massage All-in-One Personal Lubricant 1.0 fl. oz

I purchased JO All-in-one Massage Glide on a particularly hot and humid day when my skin kept rubbing against each other. I needed something to help decrease friction, without spending tons of money. I went to a little sex shop and purchased it for $11 CAD. This saved me, and luckily for me, it gave me an excuse to write a review.

The one problem I encountered with JO massage glide is that I couldn’t use it with any of my toys, except for my Doc Johnson Ripply Butt Plug, as most of my collection is now silicone. As mentioned in previous posts, never use a silicone toy with a silicone lubricant, this will break down the toy.

JO all-in-one worked great, it stayed slippery for a while, majorly decreased friction, and didn’t feel sticky. I absolutely loved it, as the first silicone lube I have ever owned, I am glad to have bought it.

This glide’s thickness was good, it was neither watery nor goopy. It had a medium thickness that swayed toward the thinner side. It could cause a mess, but its not going to be shockingly thin and go everywhere very easily. On that note, This is definitely not a lube you want to keep in your purse. One of the only problems I really had with this was the packaging made it easy for lubricant to escape, and while grabbing my hair band out of my bag I found my bag’s contents to be quite slippery.

Features:

  • Versatile: Internal and External Use
  • Scent-free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Latex safe

Pros:

  • Great for sexual massages
  • Stays slick for long time
  • No stickiness
  • Great for showers
  • Great Price point

Cons:

  • Silicone Based so it cannot be used with silicone toys
  • Not safe for Polyurethane condoms
  • Hard to clean off materials
  • Two ingredients can have health and environmental hazards

Ingredient breakdown:

Cyclotetrasiloxane: Can accumulate in aquatic organisms and act as a hormone disruptor. It also causes interference with hormone function in humans. There is a possibility that it can cause impaired fertility.

Cyclopentasiloxane: Similar to cyclotetrasiloxane, accumulates in aquatic organisms as hormone disruptor, also causing interference with hormone function in humans. Cyclopentasiloxane can cause uterine tumours and harm the reproductive and immune system. Lastly, Cyclopentasilixane may influence neurotransmitters in the nervous system.

Toy Review: Please Mini Wand

image

Comes with a soft storage bag and charger cord. Has a beautiful design.

Pros:

  • Silicone
  • Rechargeable
  • Waterproof
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Intense Rumbly Vibes

Cons:

  • Not as powerful as large wand (DOXY or Magic Wand)
  • Can be too strong for certain people
  • Not for use of magic wand extentions

This was my first wand I have ever owned, and I absolutely love it! It is very strong and rumbly and everything I expected it to be. I needed this in my life. It isn’t as strong as a magic wand or DOXY.

I absolutely loved to use it clitorally, when combined with the Tantus Slicks I got recently it was a match made in heaven. The intense clitoral stimulation was great for helping swell the g-spot causing amazing sensation from my internal toys.

This toy has the intensity of the low-medium setting on the large wands. It is a rumbly as apposed to buzzy.  It is so strong that after a minute or two of use it feels overwhelming, and direct contact with the clitorous can be too much, verging on painful (but honestly I like it?). Luckily the wand has  8 different vibration intensitys. If the highest intensity vibration isn’t for you, then you can just click the button to a lower setting (I’ll be real, I rarely stray from the strongest setting)

I have seen many “mini wands” fall short on vibration and rumblyness. I am so happy to say this one did not fail me. Truthfully, I still want to try a stronger wand, but this one provided me long awaited orgasms. If you have read any of my other posts you may have noticed I don’t throw around the word orgasm. Truthfully, it takes a lot to get me off, this is why I gave in and made this purchase. It was definately worth it.

If you are choosing between mini-wands I recommend this one, it is rumbly and intense like a wand should be. It also has a reasonably sized head for stimulation. I have seen many wands fail to be intense as is expected from a wand.

The please wand has 8 intensitys. They do not change by much, to the point that when I originally bought it I thought it was defective until I realized that the 8th setting was much lower than the 1st. It comes with 20 different pulsation options, one being a solid vibe, you’re sure to find one or two you like. The short fast vibes sent an electric feeling through my body everytime it pulsed, I enjoyed this feeling, although my favourite and go to is a solid vibration.

Noise: 3/5 Drums

Vibration: Rumbly 4/5

Modes: 5/5

Battery: 4/5

Do not use with silicone lube. Use only waterbased.

I thought I was a wand girl, and this toy let me explore that and find out it was true. I still want to get a DOXY or magic wand, but this has become my go to toy for all alone time. If you are looking for a everybody friendly wand, Tantus inc. has made a lightweight ergonomicly designed wand called the Tantus Rumble.

If you prefer a strong buzzy sensation check out the We-Vibe Tango or the Jimmy Jane form 2.

Free the orgasm,

Toy Review: Tantus Slick

I received the small and large slick by Tantus in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

Tantus Slick

imageimage

Pros:

  • Dual Density Silicone (Feels real)
  • Solid inner code with soft outer silicone layer
  • Strap on compatible
  • G-spot curve / P-spot curve
  • 2 size options
  • Easy to clean

Cons:

  • Not suction cup compatible
  • No vibration

This was my first experience with a non vibrating dong…

And I think I’ve fallen in love.

Dual density silicone is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. Tantus’ silicone is second to none to begin with. The invention of dual density silicone solves an important problem, people who choose porous jelly over silicone because of the squishy aspect of it. Before I knew much about sex toys, and Tantus, I couldn’t believe that dual density silicone was real silicone. Lucky it is, and I am grateful for such luxurious body friendly options. I got spoiled my this product, it’s hard to imagine going back to vibrating toys, as well as to any non dual density silicone.

Use:

It turns out I love both of these, small and large. They are both curved with a pronounced “head” that adds sensation.

The Tantus Slick quickly became one of my favourite toys for internal stimulation, if not my absolute favourite. It has definitely become my go-to toy.

No matter how well you get to know your body there is always something new to try out, this toy review is a prime example of how I was pretty sure I needed internal vibration to orgasm, and was proved wrong. I did use clitoral stimulation to increase the sensitivity of my g-spot (recommended for anyone who wants a g-spot orgasm). I squirted which is something I have never done on my own before.

Design:

The Tantus Slick small is great for anyone who prefers thinner shorter dongs, that penetrate the g-spot area. It feels just as good as the large version, the only difference being the large provides a feeling of fullness that many people enjoy.

The Tantus raised letters on each Tantus Slick made it easy to make sure the curve of the Slick was hitting the right spots.

Last but not least the Dual Density silicone provides a semi solid core (so it isnt limp) with a soft outer silicone layer. This is an amazing feature of this toy.

Cleaning:

There are many ways to clean Tantus toys:

  • Boil them to clean and sanitize
  • Use hypoallergenic soap and water and rinse
  • Use toy cleaner
  • Place in dishwasher (I don’t recommend this as dish washers tend to hold bacteria)
  • You can bleach it, but you don’t need to.

Wrap Up:

This toy is perfect for anyone who is trying out a dong for the first time, or is moving from a jelly toy to a body safe option. The squishyness is excellent and if your used to Jelly you will absolutely love this. No smells, super easy to clean and feels amazing beyond belief.

If you like the feeling of fullness go with the large slick. I personally enjoyed “warming up” with the small slick, and then going for the larger one. As a woman gets turned on her vaginal muscles relax, that is why at first some toys seem like a challenge and later on are no big deal. Both these sizes provided intense g-spot stimulation.

For Anal use:

I recommend starting off with the small slick, It has a great shape for prostate stimulation. It is great for use with a strap on, and the dual density silicone provides amazing sensation

Ratings:

Material: 10/10
Stimulation 8.9/10 (It wasn’t a crazy amount of curves or bumps, but dual density is amazing)

If I could have added anything to this toy I would add a suction cup, But there are always other Tantus products that have that.

Toy Review: MyStim Electric Eric BLACK EDITION

About a month ago I wrote a post called “My Dream Toys” where Electric Eric was featured as my 3rd dream toy. As a person who follows her dreams, I reached out to MyStim and asked them about doing a review for them.

So… Without further to do…

I received the MyStim Electric Eric BLACK EDITION for free from MyStim in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.

First Impressions:

Upon receiving the Electric Eric, The first thing I did was admire the packaging. The box contained a black hard case with a zipper. In the zippered case lay the Electric Eric, A magnetic charger shaped to fit perfectly onto the MyStim logo on the front of the vibrator, a little manual, conducive gel, and water based lube. The new look of the black edition electric Eric is way sleeker than the regular black and white version.

Turning it on, I walked into the party my roommate was having and started a game of: “What intensity can you hold onto the dildo with your hands?” 2/7 people only held on to the dildo until it was at setting 7, the rest of the room clenched their teeth and held on until at setting 10. Seeing as I was one of the wimps who bailed at 7. I was a bit nervous to test it out properly, at the same time, I couldn’t wait.

The Real Test:

The instructions are simple:

  • Insert toy before turning on e-stim function, this allows you to achieve best intensity, and make sure to turn off e-stim before removal
  • If you have an electric/metal implant and/or heart problems or arrhythmia consult a doctor first
  • Read the manual before use

Alright. Go time.

  1. Put lube on toy
  2. Place toy in vagina
  3. Turn e-stim on
  4. Question what I got myself into
  5. Turned it up slowly… all the way to 10

Despite being unable to go past 7 while holding it in my hand, I was pretty quickly able to bring the e-stim up to 10 while inside me. The sensation of e-stim is one of the hardest things to describe. E-stim lets you feel your muscles contract, I think my favourite modes were the escalating option, this was a favourite because it allowed you to really feel the e-stim in action.

As for Vibration:

I would give this toy a 6/10 on the vibration scale, it was very similar to the vibration intensity of my Aria Lotus Flutter, yet rumbly as apposed to buzzy. The Electric Eric has 2 vibrating motors, one near the tip and one closer to the middle. When vibration was used as well as e-stim that was my favourite, especially the kegal exercise function.

Pros:

  • Made from silicone
  • Great introductory estim toy
  • Rechargeable
  • Vibration option (2 vibrating motors)
  • Kegal exerciser
  • 2 year manufacturers warranty
  • 3 hour battery life on high settings (True story)
  • No visible metal pads (they are somehow under the silicone)
  • Waterproof

Cons:

  • Kegal setting can be hard to find (Press the e-stim button 6 times until light goes green)
  • Vibration is a moderate intensity

This toy charges using a magnetic USB charger. You don’t need anything extra to make the toy work, unlike some e-stim toys you do not need a electrostimulation device or wires. Such an amazing toy for the adventurous toy user.

Does it hurt?

The simple answer is no. It feels different, and you have control over what e-stim setting you like it at. For me, even at the highest setting it was tingly and provided nice feeling muscle contractions.

Kegal Program:

This is my favourite setting, especially when you add in vibration. I actually really loved this function. Not only am I bettering my vaginal health, but it feels amazing.

To get to this function press the e-stim button and go to the 6th option. The light will change to a green colour to tell you it is on. Turn up e-stim to desired setting once in this mode. Either use vibration, or don’t, your choice. To leave this mode press the e-stim button, or press and hold to turn off e-stim all together.

Cleaning:

To clean you can use toy cleaner wait 3 minutes and rinse off. This is my preferred method. If you don’t own toy cleaner you can use a hypoallergenic antibacterial soap. Always let air dry.
